🌺 We’ve mixed up some gorgeous ^5/6 glazes for studio members & they’re ready for dipping!

🌺 We still have a few drop-in memberships available! $130/month for studio/glaze/firing access!

🌺 One gorgeous private 8’ x 8’ studio is still waiting for its next resident artist!

🌺 Our very first 8 week Handbuilding Class (taught by Lily) gets started next Wednesday! I think there are a couple spots left if anyone is interested! Sign up through website.

Summer is around the corner & we’re very excited to announce some opportunities for your kiddos to come play with clay! Rocio will be offering two different summer sessions at Phoenix for two different age groups:

🌺 Each three week session will include two classes per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, for a total of 6 sessions.
🌺 Session 1: June 29 - July 15th, Session 2: July 20th - August 5th
🌺 K-2nd graders will meet from 11 to 12:30, 3rd-6th graders will meet from 1:00 to 3:00.
🌺 Everyone will be learning beginning hand building skills using mid range clay and colorful food safe glazes! Materials, tools, & firing provided!
🌺 $145 / session, or contact Lily about sliding scale options.

This week makes One Year in our new location on South G Street! What a year it’s been. I wanted to throw a party; then reality set in and I realized that was too much work for this busy introvert. Soo this is me taking a moment to celebrate this milestone here on the socials, and say that I, and I’m confident I can say all of us at Phoenix, are so excited to be here! Your local clay shop is here not only due to our team’s hard work, but because so many of you choose to shop locally with us, to come in and ask questions and find answers & inspiration, and to continue to create your unique art! In so many different ways, you have all shared in and supported the vision of a local supply resource as well as a community Ceramics hub thriving here in Arcata, and what a gift. I’m excited to get to be a part of it all, and I still feel like we’re just getting started! Happy Spring, 🥂✨ to all the mudiness to come! ❤️‍🔥🌺💚✨
Also I just wanna say a big thank you in particular to .ceramics who, amongst her many talents, has taken the lead on interactive posts with you all, as it turns out putting myself in front of a video camera is one of the entrepreneurial tasks which I least enjoy. It takes a village 🫶❤️‍🔥🌈
