Arcata Play Center The Arcata Recreation Division offers two play groups for families in the Humboldt community. Funded in Partnership with First 5 Humboldt.

Our 0-5 year play group meets Mon. - Wed., 10AM-12PM and our First Year Play Group on Tuesday afternoons 1-3Pm. ARCATA PLAY CENTER
Play Center is a safe and comfortable environment for children to interact with other children while learning important playtime social skills. Activities include drawing, books, tricycles, Duplo blocks, play kitchen, musical instruments in addition to many other deve

lopmental toys. Caregivers have an opportunity to gain support from each other. Feel free to bring a healthy snack for your family. Do you have concerns about the impacts of the pandemic on your child's development? Developmental screening and enrichment resources are available. Arcata Play Center is invested in Ages and Stages developmental screening. We are proud to use the #1 developmental and social-emotional screeners to give kids a great start in life. Ask a facilitator how you and your child can get involved. Ages: Newborn - 5 years
