We’re having a Groovy Car Round Up at the Feelin’ Groovy Festival! We have an area that can fit about 10 parked cars and we’d like to fill it with groovy looking 1960s cars. Volkswagens - Beetles & Buses, Woodys (with a surf board would be fantastic) and other fun cars from this era. We’d like cars you’d be comfy with someone standing by it to take selfies.

Text 256-200-5270 if you are interested. The Festival is November 8th 12:00 to 7:00. We have time blocked out 12:00 - 4:00 for the Groovy Car Roundup - but you are welcome to stay longer and enjoy the Festival.

Limit 10 cars.

The Feelin’ Groovy Festival is just a few short weeks away!

November 8th
Arab, Alabama
12:00-7:00

Tomorrow, Saturday Oct 18, we will post the Groovy Voice contestants that will be moving on to the stage competition at the Festival.

We do still have vendor spaces available, but please do not respond to any of the comments popping up saying “contact me to get a vendor space.” We are deleting those fake commenters but it’s nearly a full time job!

We have merchandise booths only and if you are interested, message the page or email [email protected]
Categories closed: honey, bread, tie dye clothing, most jewelry styles.
We do not have any food vendor spaces available.

We still have more room for the Groovy Car Roundup. Volkswagens, trucks, Woodies - anything definitively mid to late 60s.

We will begin spotlighting our vendors on Monday October 27th. We have some really groovy vendors lined up with awesome items. Watch for vendor posts on our Facebook and Instagram page.

We hope you get into the fun and “dress the decade”! Go all out with Flower Power and bell bottoms, gogo boots, etc.. or take the easy road and wear your favorite tie dye shirt. Just join the fun and be groovy!

Things you need to bring:
• A chair or blanket to watch the Groovy Voice Competition. Starts at 12 noon. And to enjoy the Tyn Tymes Band who take the stage at 5 pm. You’re probably going to want to dance the whole time, but bring a chair just in case!

• Bring Bubbles - the DJ will announce a Bubble Blast song or 2 and we’ll fill the air with bubbles!

• Bring a friend! Adventures are more fun when you are surrounded with your bestie!

• Bring a hula hoop! 1960s music is the best for hooping! Be sure you leave enough room between you and the other dancers.

The Feelin’ Groovy Festival will be held at the Arab Soccer Fields by the Fire Station. Please do not park in or block the spaces marked 911 parking only. The 911 building is located behind the Fire Station.

Can’t wait to see you at the Feelin’ Groovy Festival!
