It’s been awhile since I did a scarf, Heather Mathews Edwards has been on me for awhile to do some new ones for Studio 256 yarn shop.

I sold my Lendrum a few months back to pay for the new 50th anniversary edition, I have a backup wheel, but I’m really missing my Lendrum, so I’m doing some weaving to pass the time!

I thought about a video right before I put the fiber into the oven to exhaust the dyes, but I’ve got 16oz of super-wash ...

I thought about a video right before I put the fiber into the oven to exhaust the dyes, but I’ve got 16oz of super-wash merino/ Angelina roving almost ready to spin. I like how it turned out, but I definitely put too much fiber into my pan. Even after dyeing both sides, I still ended up with all those white patches, next time I’ll spread the fiber out to try to get more color saturation.
