I have a couple appointments this and next week that I couldn’t schedule outside of open hours. Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20th we’ll be closing early at 1:30. Next Thursday, October 29th we’ll be opening late, at 12pm. I apologize if that interferes with anyone’s plans to stop by but please know I try my best to be open as much as is possible for this one woman show ❤️

Leaf foraging this morning for tonight’s fall leaf drawing event! Pick leaves to draw from over ten different trees (got my squats in today!) Stop in anytime between 4:30-6:30 to sketch and chat. Join us at Little Known Art House to get a little sketchy on Friday, October 9th from 4:30-6:30pm. Enjoy a cozy fall afternoon drawing and chatting. I’ll collect a variety of colorful fall leaves for us to draw. All drawing supplies and paper will be provided. A $10 donation to the art house is appreciated. No registration required.

Next up in the gallery, a well loved Wisconsin artist and art house favorite, Pete Kornowski! We’re so excited to have a few of Pete’s original paintings here from September 15th through October 24th. Pete is an award winning artist who specializes in mysterious, ethereal, and fantastical acrylic painting. His imagery is like something out of a movie or book.

Pete will be Little Known Art House on Saturday, September 19th from 10am-12pm demonstrating his painting style. Come by to meet the artist and get a glimpse behind the scenes of an artists work. Light snacks and lemonade will be provided during this event.

A sweet little drop by from Karen, we have just 2 of these mugs with a glaze she was experimenting with. What do you think of this color combo?? Gorgeous, right?!?

We also have a few ring holders, bud vases, and water cups for the painters! Can’t wait to see what you guys think of these!

If you’re new here, hi, I’m Jackie, owner of Little Known Art House. I’m also a printmaker and photographer 🙌 I started doing art festivals with my printmaking artwork about 5 years ago and was one of the inspirations for opening the art house. One of my favorites is Appleton’s own Art at the Park. I’ll be heading there this weekend, July 25th and 26th, in City Park. Stop by Booth U3 and say hi!!

Little Known will still be open but our hours on Friday will be shorter so I can go set up. My best friend, Michelle and her daughter, will be watching the art house on Saturday so please show them some love ❤️
