Happy Thanksgiving to all.
A Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Friends of Irish music, your aid is needed. The Cobblestone, a storied Dublin pub which has been for years a showcase for Irish music, language, and culture is being threatened with demolition to make way for a hotel development. Irish Fest of the Fox Cities volunteers have attended sessions there for years. The owner Tom Mulligan has become a good friend. The Cobblestone is a much loved and needed center of Irish culture and heritage that simply deserves to be preserved. If you love traditional Irish music as we do, please consider signing the linked petition to stop its destruction. The petition closes on November 4, so please don't delay. Go raibh míle maith agat.
Save the Cobblestone pub from being swallowed up by a 9 story hotel. Parts of pub due to be demolished have been a place of music, language, learning and culture. #SaveTheCobblestone
