This performance is a tribute to our Hmong daughters: a reminder of who we are, where we come from, and who we are destined to become.

Our coach, Tiffany, would like to dedicate this song to the incredible Hmong women of the past and present who have made lasting impacts within our communities and paved the way for future generations to succeed.

Despite a few minor challenges including being unexpectedly graced by the wind during our performance, we are proud to share that we gave it our all. We learned this piece in less than two months, practicing only on Sundays, with only 1 day to implement props, and we could not be more proud of the dedication, resilience, and heart our dancers brought to the stage. We hope you enjoy this final piece our coach has taught us for the last time.

Lastly, thank you Selena Hang, for this beautiful collaboration in rewriting this cover and bringing it to life in Hmong Leeg through your voice and artistry. This piece also features our coach Tiffany at the very end of the song! 💖💚

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

We are incredibly grateful to the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region for continuing to invest in our Hmong girls through the Nkauj Hmoob Rising: Hmong Sisterhood Circle at Long Cheng Community Center.

Because of this support, we are able to create a space for Hmong girls ages 11–17 centered around leadership, mentorship, cultural identity, confidence building, sisterhood, and personal growth. Programs like this matter deeply because they help heal and strengthen generations of girls who deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered in who they are becoming.

A special thank you to Christina Thor, who helped found and design the Sisterhood Circle program, for sharing remarks and continuing to pour into the next generation of Hmong girls through this work.

We are currently accepting applications for this year’s Sisterhood Circle! If you or your child would like to join the program, please reach out to us for more information!

Thank you for believing in our girls, our community, and this work. ❤️
