We facilitated over 40 workshops across 4 days during Mile of Music, reminding nearly 6000 people that music is their birthright. Our team got participants in the festival to become part of the amazing music making that happens in Appleton every summer!

Thank you for sharing your summer adventures with us! We received an overwhelming number of submissions and will post the remaining student/alum summer adventures through the end of this week, but we are no longer accepting new submissions.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our Mile of Music community for another great year of artists, song, and community music making.

Remember that your music making ability doesn't stop when Mile stops, music is your birthright, and we hope that you continue making music now and always.

Another amazing day on the Mile with the Education Team! Ukuleles, Mya Cymbaluk leading us with learning drumset groove, getting Heid Music super star DeDe Heid playing some uke!! Balinese Dancing, inspired dancing to Samba drumming, Mariachi magic, Mile Artist Hillary Reynolds sharing her children's book with stories that sing this morning!

One more day of magic tomorrow! Come join us all day on the Lawrence Conservatory Green!

In the wake of the devastating tornado that impacted so many of our friends, neighbors, and fellow music fans, we're reminded that the strength of our community has always been found in the people who come together when it matters most.

This limited-edition One Mile. One Community. t-shirt was created as a way for our Mile of Music family to support local tornado relief efforts. One hundred percent (100%) of proceeds for every shirt purchased will be donated directly to the Community Response Fund, helping those affected begin the road to recovery.
