September 12th we celebrate 13 years of RISE TOGETHER at Gibson Community Music Hall in Appleton!
And when we look back on 13 years, the numbers are important — but they aren't what we're most proud of.
We're proud of the young person who decided to ask for help.
The student who realized they weren't the only one struggling.
The educator who learned another way to connect with a kid who needed someone.
The communities that didn't just invite us in for a presentation, but asked, what can we build together that lasts?
That's what 13 years of RISE has become.
We've grown from sharing our stories in schools to working alongside young people, educators, families and entire communities to build stronger systems of prevention, connection and support.
And none of it happened because of RISE alone.
It happened because people believed in this work.
Schools opened their doors. Communities invested. Businesses sponsored programs. Educators kept showing up.
Young people trusted us with their stories.
And people like you donated, volunteered, shared our work and helped us keep going.
That's what we're celebrating at Lucky 13.
ONYX. Keag + Friends. Keziah Love. Music, storytelling, local businesses, artists, raffles, specialty auction items and a whole lot of people who have been part of this movement.
And what we raise that night helps us keep building what comes next.
