A dance parent checklist, because nobody warned us that WE were signing up for a sport, a hobby, a hairdressing apprenticeship, and a second job as a logistics coordinator. 😂💗

Your dance bag should probably contain:

☑️ Water bottle
☑️ Correct shoes (all of them, please!)
☑️ Hair ties and bobby pins
☑️ A backup hair tie for the backup hair tie
☑️ Snacks, because apparently everyone is starving
☑️ The calendar, your calendar, and the calendar you forgot to check
☑️ Unreasonable amounts of pride

And don't forget the most important item: the parent who shows up, cheers them on, and helps them believe they can do hard things. ❤️

There's a lot happening in a dance class that has absolutely NOTHING to do with getting the steps right. ❤️

It's the moment a teacher tells a nervous dancer, "You've got this."

It's the little girl who finally tries something she's been afraid of.

It's learning to listen, take correction, try again, and celebrate a friend's success.

It's realizing that making a mistake doesn't mean you've failed. It means you're learning.

These are the moments that remind us why dance education matters so much.

And yes, we love a beautiful performance. But the growth that happens long before the curtain opens? That's the really good stuff. 🥹🩰

🧜‍♀️🫧 We had a FIN-tastic time under the sea today celebrating Sophia's 5th birthday at Kidspirations!

Our little mermaids made a splash with some obstacle course fun before gathering with friends and family for pizza, birthday cake, and lots of birthday smiles! 🐚🩷

Sophia, thank you for letting us be part of your special day! We loved celebrating with you and your whole crew! Hope your birthday was filled with oceans of fun!

❄️💜 We had the sweetest time celebrating Halley's 5th birthday on Saturday with a Frozen-themed party!

From decorating our very own princess crowns to tackling a fun obstacle course, these girls had SO much fun! 👑❄️ There were so many smiles, giggles, and sweet moments throughout the party!
