That’s a wrap, folks! Another season of live music in the books.

We want to take a moment to thank the Applegate community for showing up and supporting live music week after week. It’s been a great season, and we’re grateful for everyone who came out, listened, danced, and helped make these evenings so much fun.

A big thank you to A Greater Applegate for helping fund these amazing events and to The Lindsay Lodge & Restaurant for being such gracious and welcoming hosts! Thanks to our sound crew
Angel Tapia, Austin West, and John Johns — for keeping everything sounding great all season long.

Shoutout to Blue Fox Farm for letting us use their speakers and helping us make it all happen.

And last but certainly not least, a very special thank you to Jaimy Wilkinson Applegate Evening Market for putting so much time, energy, and love into creating such a great event and bringing live music to our community.

One last Wednesday!

September 30 marks the final Applegate Evening Market and the final concert of our 2026 season, and we’re closing it out with The Gold Souls !

This will be their second time playing with us this year. They kicked off our concert season back in May with a show inside the Lodge, and we’ve been wanting to bring them back to take the music outside.

The Gold Souls bring a high-energy mix of funk, soul, and blues — driving grooves, powerhouse vocals, horns, and plenty of music made for dancing. They’ve shared stages with The California Honeydrops, The Soul Rebels, Diggin Dirt, North Mississippi Allstars, and more.

Come out for one more evening of local food, vendors, friends, and live music! Come on out and close out the 2026 season together.

We are so excited to have The Rosa Lees at Art in the Vineyard - Jacksaphine Count(r)y Fair 2026 this year!

Join up-and-coming bluegrass band, The Rosa Lees, for a high energy set of music at Art in the Vineyard at Wooldridge Creek Vineyard in the Applegate Valley on Sunday, September 27th from 1-3:30!

The Rosa Lees hail from the hills of sunny Southern Oregon and at the forefront of their music lies an emphasis on closely blended harmonies, hard-charging rhythms, and lyrically potent songs. Their repertoire mingles elements of traditional bluegrass with traces of old-time fiddle and banjo tunes, classic country, old-world Celtic music, and gospel. They prioritize songs with meaning and a strong turn of phrase, working to fuse all these ingredients into the original songs that punctuate their sets.
Audiences consistently rave about the distinct blend of their vocal harmonies and instrumental acuity, not to mention their playful on-stage demeanor.

The Rosa Lees are Rachel Buklad on banjo, Jessie Monter on fiddle, Holly Hurley on bass, and Bekkah McAlvage on guitar.

On Wednesday, September 23, from 5:15-7:15pm, we welcome Wolf Jett to the Applegate Evening Market ! They’ll be kicking off their tour right here in the Applegate, making us their very first stop during our very own Jacksaphine Count(r)y Fair.

We’re excited to have them and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate one of our final Wednesdays of the season. The sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance, sing… and possibly even howl!

Their all-original songs are an upbeat celebration, infusing folk, soul and Americana into what they call "Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals of Tennessee-born frontman Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums. They currently perform with Duncan Shipton on bass, female vocalist Allyson Makuch, electric guitarists Rory Cloud, and Alex Benjamin on keys/percussion.

Their latest album “Letting Go” (produced by Jonathan Kirchner) was released late Spring 2026.

Wednesday, September 16 — Desert Hollow

Market favorites Desert Hollow are back for their third time at the Applegate Evening Market — and this time they’re bringing the full band!

Xander Hitzig and Nicole Olney blend the spirit of the California desert and West Virginia countryside into roots music that moves between folk, bluegrass, and Americana. The two first met as castmates in a country musical in Los Angeles and now call Maui home.

With original songwriting, beautiful harmonies, and plenty of strings — fiddle, banjo, guitar, and more — their music can shift from foot-stomping and lively to quiet and reflective. As Xander puts it, “It’s folk music — music for the folks.”

We’re excited to have them back, and especially to hear what they do with a full band behind them.

Fun and Company are bringing the music of the Grateful Dead back to the Applegate Evening Market

After a great night with us last summer, they’re returning with their take on the music of the Grateful Dead. Pulling from across the Dead’s long strange trip, Fun and Co. bring plenty of energy, plenty of jams, and a set list that’s never the same.
