September we are so ready for you!

If you've been watching our posts thinking, that looks fun — this is me telling you to pick one and come. You don't have to be “creative.” You don't have to know what you're doing. That's kind of the whole point. ❤️

Come learn something new, try something you've always wanted to try, bring a friend, come by yourself, bring the kids… just come create with us!

We have bracelet making + fragrance blending, junk journaling, brush lettering, designer bows, our annual succulent pumpkins, creative classes for the little ones AND a Parents' Night Out for the bigger kids.

Come discover Creative Hub of Apopka! We create hands-on experiences where kids can make, experiment, explore and have fun — and we have two fall favorites coming up in September.

🍎 THE CREATIVE CLUBHOUSE: APPLE HARVEST
📅 September 18 | 6:00–8:30 PM
🎨 Ages 7–11 | Parents' Night Out

Pick it. Build it. Make it. Erupt it!

We're packing the night with apple-inspired art, creative challenges, experiments and treats. Drop the kids off for 2½ hours of creative fun while you enjoy a night out!

🍂 LITTLE MAKERS MORNING: THE LEAF THIEF

🎨 Ages 3–5 | Mom + Me Creative Class

A story-inspired morning for our littlest creatives and their grown-ups. We'll read The Leaf Thief, create fall leaves, make a yummy fall snack and enjoy creative play together.

**Pull up a chair. ❤️**

Today’s **Hub Insider** goes out at 2 PM, and in it I’m sharing a story that feels especially meaningful as we think about where Creative Hub of Apopka is headed.

When we first opened, we held a night market in the green space beside the house. Right in the middle was a table with a simple message:

**All are welcome at our table.**

At the time, it was simply that—an invitation to sit down, gather and be part of what was happening.

I had no idea how much those words would come full circle.

Sometimes you find the place where you fit. And sometimes, when the table you're looking for doesn't exist yet, **you create one.**

Looking back, I think that's a little bit of what we were doing.

Creating a place for the creative kid looking for other creative kids. For the person who walks into a workshop alone. For artists and makers with something to share. For someone who wants to try something new. And for people who simply want a place to gather and create alongside others.

I didn't know when we put that table outside how much it would inspire the direction we're still building today.

But the invitation hasn't changed.

**All are welcome at our table.**

We hear it all the time: **“There’s nothing to do in Apopka.”**

But take another look. 👀

Creative experiences ARE happening right here in our community.

Learn to make sourdough. Blend your own fragrance. Create a bracelet stack. Try art journaling. Learn brush lettering. Send the kids to a night filled with art, experiments and creative challenges.

You don't always have to drive somewhere else to find something fun and different to do.

At **Creative Hub of Apopka**, we're working with local artists, makers and creative businesses to build the kinds of experiences we want to see more of right here at home.

But here's the important part: **local programming only grows when our community shows up for it.**

Every registration supports a local creative, helps us continue bringing new experiences to Apopka, and shows us that there's a community here that wants more.

So grab a friend. Try something you've never done before. Pull up a seat at The Creative Table. Let the kids experience Creative Clubhouse.

🎨 APOPKA PARENTS — DOES YOUR CREATIVE KID HAVE A PLACE TO GROW?

Not every kid finds their thing on a field, court or stage.

Some kids light up when they're drawing, painting, designing, building, experimenting or simply given the freedom to CREATE.

Those kids deserve a place to grow, too.

At the Creative Hub of Apopka, we're building that place with Homeschool + After School programs taught by professional artists and experienced creative professionals.

Our classes are thoughtfully designed to meet each young artist where they are. We give kids opportunities to try all the things — different mediums, techniques, tools and creative experiences — while giving them room to explore their own ideas, develop their individual creativity, build confidence and connect with a community of creative peers.

🎨 HOMESCHOOL ART
Learn with professional artist Diana Rendell while exploring artists, mediums, techniques and creative expression. Students have room to experiment, discover what they enjoy and develop their own artistic voice.

💻 DIGITAL ART + DESIGN
Students learn real graphic design — color, typography, composition, visual hierarchy and how to communicate an idea visually — taught by a professional graphic designer with 25+ years of industry experience.

The software is the tool. Design is the skill.

🎨 PAINTING + DRAWING
Build foundational drawing and painting skills while exploring techniques, materials and individual style — with instruction designed to help students grow from wherever they're starting.

🖼️ AND WE GIVE YOUNG ARTISTS A PLACE TO SHOW WHAT THEY CREATE.

Each October, our students have the opportunity to participate in our annual Kids Art Show, where their artwork is displayed and celebrated by family, friends and our community.

Because we're building something bigger than a class schedule.

WE'RE BUILDING APOPKA'S HOME FOR CREATIVITY.

A place to try new things.
A place to learn from professional artists and creatives.
A place to develop your own ideas.
A place to find other creative kids.
A place to grow year after year.

Because sometimes finding your creative community is just as important as finding your creative voice.
