Festa Italiana North Carolina vendor Kono Pizza Raleigh is introducing two new foods at the 2026 N.C. State Fair starting this Friday: Tiramisu Pizza Cone and Tiramisu Waffle Cone.

If you go to the state fair this year, stop at Kono's and thank them for supporting Festa all these years! We couldn't do what we do without the support of our vendors and sponsors.

Did you say Italian mandolin music---at the N.C. State Fair? Si/Yes!!! Raleigh's Oak City Serenaders Duo, who performed at 2025 Festa Italiana North Carolina, will perform a week from today at the North Carolina State Fair's Heritage Stage Details below, straight from Andrew. Glad to see a little Italian culture make its way onto an entertainment stage at the fair! Hope some of our Festa fans can make it to the fair on Monday! Bravo!

"Sam Harris and I will perform five one-hour sets at the NC State Fair in Raleigh on Monday, October 19, at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm, and 7:00pm, on the Heritage Stage. We'll play alternating sets of Italian mandolin serenades and classic banjo showpieces throughout the day, with me and Sam trading off leading each set. We will endeavor to provide you with only the finest in sophisticated string band music to complement your portion of deep-fried Oreos and BBQ doughnuts."
