DEADLINE EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY 10/16!! APAP Members have requested an extension for the deadline of this our next show, Arizona Around the Clock. Many of us were out of town participating in the plein air competitions held in Prescott and Bisbee over the weekend. October is a bustling month for art shows in Arizona! The new deadline is this Wednesday, October 16th, at midnight! This a great opportunity to display your work and compete for prizes.

Dear APAP Members,

Just a friendly reminder about our upcoming APAP members meeting this Sunday from 1-3 PM at the Arizona Artists Guild Building.

We're excited to have Hope Ricciardi, fellow APAP member, as our demo artist for the meeting. Hope, one of the "Paint Arizona Day" Ambassadors, recently led a paint out in West Sedona in early April.

Hope's plein air work is inspired by Southwest landscapes, focusing on the energy and light of the Red Rocks, Grand Canyon, and Utah. With over 40 years of teaching experience in Boston, Hope now calls Sedona home. Her work is internationally recognized and exhibited at the Sedona Artist Market & Gallery.

Hope will demonstrate her painting skills at the Escalante Arts Festival 2024 on September 28th. She will guide attendees step by step in simplifying the vast landscape of Escalante Grand Staircase to create atmosphere and depth. Feel free to bring your painting gear and work alongside her, or simply bring a chair and observe. Registration is open to artists now, with a discount for early sign-up. See link below.

Here are the details:
- Location: Four Corners Gallery at the Tucson Desert Art Museum, 7000 East Tanque Verde Rd, 85715
- Artwork Selection: Gallery curation
- Drop-off Dates: April 12th and 13th during gallery hours or by arrangement
- Exhibition Dates: April 20th through May 11th

Logistics:
- Artists are responsible for delivering and picking up their work from the gallery
- Gallery split: 50/50
- Paintings should be framed without sawtooth hangers, with your information on the back
