A good stitch regulator helps keep your stitches consistent while you quilt. That means you can focus more on movement, design, and learning the feel of the machine instead of worrying over every stitch.

It is one of those features that helps build confidence at the machine.

Look at these great Southwestern quilts! I chose patterns and thread colors that would create movement without distracting from the panel. We have kits for both of these in the shop!

I recently finished this gorgeous custom quilt. I had a lot of fun choosing and stitching designs. I love how the background quilting makes the stars pop!

I love teaching other quilters about these amazing APQS machines! There is something special about watching a quilter go from unsure to confident.

Sometimes it is learning how to load a quilt. Sometimes it is understanding Quilt Path. Sometimes it is realizing the machine is not as intimidating as it first felt.

That is my favorite part of teaching. I get to help quilters learn what their machine can do, ask questions, and feel more comfortable every time they quilt!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandpas, husbands and father figures who show up in the big ways and the quiet ways.

And a special thank you to the ones who build sewing rooms, carry machines, cut wood for quilt displays, hold up finished quilts for photos and say, “That looks great,” even when they do not fully understand what we just made.

We appreciate you more than you know!
