On Saturday evening at PM&L Theatre, students gathered for a “Paint with Sue” class with a special challenge—to try and catch the elusive leprechaun named Clover McGee.

Throughout the night, strange things happened. Paint colors seemed to switch, brushes rolled away, and students swore they saw flashes of green dart past their easels. Clover McGee was sneaky, quick, and loved playing tricks, making him nearly impossible to catch.

By the end of the class, the students stepped back to admire their paintings—and burst into laughter. On every single canvas, a tiny leprechaun had appeared, and from high above the theatre’s catwalk, a mischievous giggle rang out—almost as if Clover McGee himself was announcing that the night’s mission had been perfectly accomplished.
