Welcome to Wander and Willow. šæ
If youāve been here for a while, you know this page has worn a few different hats over the years.
Just like I have.
The last few years have changed me in ways I never expected. Chronic illness forced me to slow down, let go of so much, and learn what it means to build a life around what I can do instead of grieving what I canāt.
Somewhere in all of that, I found something I didnāt realize Iād been missing.
Creating.
Not because it was a business ideaā¦
Not because it was something I had to doā¦
But because it made me feel like myself again.
Iāve always looked at things a little differently.
A forgotten necklace.
A weathered piece of driftwood.
Broken jewelry.
A handful of buttons.
A rusty hoop.
A rock picked up on a walk.
Where someone else sees the end of a story, I canāt help but imagine the beginning of another.
Thatās what Wander and Willow is.
A place where forgotten things become keepsakes.
Where nature, vintage treasures, and handmade pieces find new life.
Where every creation carries a story, because almost every material has one before it ever reaches my hands.
But this page is about more than the things Iāll make.
Itās about slowing down enough to notice the little moments.
The rainbow dancing across the wall from a sun catcher.
The excitement of finding the perfect treasure at a thrift store.
The peace of creating with your hands.
The reminder that beauty often comes from the most unexpected places.
Youāll see finished pieces here, but youāll also see the process. The treasure hunts. The successes. The mistakes. The ideas that donāt work. The stories behind each creation. Because thatās my favorite part.
If youāve followed my journey through all its different seasons, thank you for sticking around.
And if youāre just finding me nowā¦
Welcome.
Iām so glad our paths crossed.
Hereās to new beginnings, second chances, and finding beauty in places we might have walked right past before.
XO- Kayla
