Claire resident, you quickly realize that summer begins with the Strawberry Festival. This age old event seems to become more and more popular each year. A day filled with a Parade, Music (7 Bands), Food, Games, Crafters, Contest, Pony Rides, K9 demos, a Silent Auction and Strawberries in many forms, is on tap for this year’s festivities. We are so excited to bring back our newest features to the

festival this year. We will have the traditional Moon Bounces, an Obstacle Course, Pony Rides in the Corral, Face Painting, a Coloring Contest, Dunk Booth, Soak –a – Scout, Sand Art, Bike Demo, K-9 Demo, Martial Arts Demo, Dance Demo, Games, Pizza, Pit Beef, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Snow Balls, Smoothies, Strawberry Baked Goods Contest, Strawberry Jam/Jelly Contest, THE BEER GARDEN, Decorated Bikes, Berriest Baby, and the Princess Contest.

DECORATE YOUR “Float” and enter to be considered for the
"Most Patriotic" and "Most Creative''
If it moves, decorate it and come on out.
Cars, Golf Carts, Bikes, Strollers, Wagons &Walkers All are Welcome!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended, participated, sponsored, performed, and supported the many local organizations that make this event so special.

A special thank you to our Strawberry Queen, Mary Lamb, along with James Lamb, Kim Po***ck, and Chris Nokes. Their dedication, countless hours, and years of commitment help keep this beloved Cape tradition alive.

🍓 Strawberry Festival is TOMORROW! 🍓

A few important reminders before you head out:

🍺 Beer Garden: You MUST have a valid ID to be served. Bring your lawn chairs and relax while enjoying live entertainment and refreshments!

🚒 Parade begins at 10:00 AM at the Firehouse.

🎟️ Tickets are ONLY sold on the festival field. Ticket booths are CASH ONLY! ATMs will be available, but bringing cash will save you time. (Street vendors and booths may accept various forms of payment.)

🍓 Don’t miss the Strawberry Kitchen & Silent Auction in the Clubhouse! Enjoy strawberry shortcake, strawberry sundaes, or “The Works”—our delicious combination of both!

❤️ Friendly reminder: All nonprofit organizations on the beach are raising funds for their programs and missions. Thank you for supporting our community groups!

We can’t wait to see everyone for a berry sweet day in Cape St. Claire!

🍓 Strawberry Festival Traffic & Parking Reminder 🍓

The Cape St. Claire Strawberry Festival is this Saturday, June 6 (rain date: June 7)!

🚧 Road Closures (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
The following roads will be closed for the festival:
• Broadview Drive (between Cape St. Claire Rd. and the cul-de-sac)
• St. Catherine Drive (between Skyway Dr. and River Bay Rd.)
• River Bay Road (between house numbers 1210 and 1226)
• Riverview Drive (between Skyway Dr. and Broadview Dr.)

🚫 Temporary No Parking Zones (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
No parking will be permitted on either side of River Bay Road between Hampton Road and Cape St. Claire Road. These restrictions are necessary to allow safe passage for school buses and emergency vehicles.

🚌 Free Berry Bus Shuttle Service
Skip the parking hassle and ride the Berry Bus! Multiple pickup locations are available throughout the community, including Broadneck High School, Cape St. Claire Elementary, Broadneck Baptist Church, and several neighborhood stops. Looking for a fun way to participate in the Festival? Download the page from the link below, color it however you'd like & drop off in the coloring contest bin at 1191 Summit Drive. Pages must be dropped off by June 4th to be accepted for the contest!

Happy Monday!!

Let's talk about the Strawberries From the Kitchen contest sponsored by Tomaselli Fire Protection Engineering.

Do you love to bake? Do you make homemade jellies and jams? Enter our Strawberries from the Kitchen contest.

Desserts will be divided into two categories: Baked & Non-baked desserts and a winner will be chosen from two age groups: Children (0-14) and Adults! All baked goods must include an ingredient list with entry (not recipe!).
Jellies/Jams will also have a winner from two age groups: Children (0-14) and Adults.

Want to enter? Drop your entry off at the Cape St. Claire Clubhouse on Friday June 5th from 5-7 PM. Winners will be selected and on display during the festival. Make sure to collect your prize from the Strawberry Festival Kitchen during the festival if you are a first place winner 🥰
