Some kids are going to summer camp.
And some are learning how to make jewelry in a real metals studio. ✨

This summer at Maryland Hall, kids and teens will create colorful wearable art using resin, copper, Shrinky D***s, powder coating, and more while learning real jewelry-making techniques along the way.

For the creative kid who’s always making something, this is their kind of summer.

Ages 8–Teens. Spots are limited.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible people who help make Maryland Hall possible: our volunteers. ♥️

With a volunteer corps of more than 200 dedicated individuals, there simply aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for each and every one of you. Whether you’re welcoming patrons as an usher, helping students and families experience the arts through our classes, supporting our Media Arts and Crab Radio programs, lending a hand behind the scenes, or championing Maryland Hall in countless other ways, your impact is felt every day.

You are often the first smile, the helping hand, the friendly face, and the reason so many people feel at home here. Your generosity of time, talent, and spirit helps make Maryland Hall the vibrant creative community it is.

From all of us at Maryland Hall: thank you for everything you do. We are so fortunate to have you as part of our Hall family.

A special thank you to Mama Deallie’s Kitchen for the amazing spread!

ANNAPOLIS, “the king of the humorous essay” is coming to town.

Just added to our Maryland Hall Presents lineup, bestselling author and humorist David Sedaris joins us this summer for one unforgettable evening of razor-sharp storytelling, brilliantly awkward observations, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the night ends.

Known for turning everyday life into something hilariously human, Sedaris has become one of America’s most beloved literary voices — and this August, he’s bringing that wit live to Annapolis.

And yes — David Sedaris will personally sign books before and after the show for all ticket holders.

ONE NIGHT ONLY.

Patrice Drago stopped by our very own Crab Radio to give us a preview of what’s ahead for Paint Annapolis 2026, and let’s just say… downtown Annapolis is about to become one giant open-air studio.

Now celebrating 25 years, Paint Annapolis brings more than 110 artists from across the U.S., Canada, and Europe to the streets of Annapolis for a week of live plein air painting, exhibitions, receptions, and creative energy all across the city. 🎨

During the interview, Patrice shares what makes the festival such a beloved part of Annapolis Arts Month, what visitors can expect this year, and why Paint Annapolis continues to draw artists and art lovers from all over.
