🐚 Hi there - it’s been a li’l while! 🐚

I’m diving back into the studio with a new seashell mirror commission, and I’d love to take you along for the process. I’ll be sharing bits and pieces as it comes together.

Here’s the mood board I send my client, K. She has traditional style, dark wooden accents in her home and has asked for brown and white shells. I mixed in some of my previous work along with shell and mirror options to give her a better visual.

We’re about a month into our consultations and are ready to finalize the design. I’ll share behind the scenes in my stories as this piece comes to life. 🐚

My family and I ventured to New Mexico last week, and I visited all things Georgia O’Keeffe. She’s been my favorite painter since studying art in college.

My daughter and I went horseback riding past her summer home on Ghost Ranch, then I visited her other home/studio in Abiquiu.

The Pueblo style house is exactly the way she left it. Every space is minimal and thoughtful, down to the hanging lights.

I’ve been needing a spark of creative energy, and I found it in New Mexico. The landscape, the people, the food, and of course, Georgia’s space. Grateful is an understatement. 💗🌶️
