SHOWTIME Sports unveiled that it will showcase the 2017 Naval Academy football team with weekly installments of the all-access documentary series "A Season with Navy Football" this season, marking the third edition of the franchise.

The series debuts on Sept. 5 at 10p on the network, four days after Navy begins its season on the road against Florida Atlantic University.

Something new in Annapolis:

The Annapolis Terps Alumni Network, part of the University of Maryland Alumni Association, is hosting TerptoberFest on October 9 at Chesapeake Brewing Company from 1-5 p.m. They invite ALL to attend and enjoy the festive Oktoberfest spirit while watching the “Battle of the Beltway” (Redskins vs Ravens) showdown on the main screens while enjoying some specially prepared fall food and a custom brew, "Fear the Beer."

Instead of breaking out your lederhosen, we invite you to wear Terp favorites Red & Black. Purchase DMV-centric merchandise by Citizen Pride and Happy Place Prints. And enjoy a very special half time performance by Kraig Greff to usher in the Oktoberfest vibe!

City of Annapolis residents can get up to 2 hours of free parking per day at the City garages. A monthly pack of passes can be obtained at Hillman Garage during office hours with a driver's license with a current address.*
