The term, 'art' and 'artist', makes the most supportive people of the arts nervous as digital art and non-talented people saturated social media, YouTube, and our communities with art that was politically motivated, or lacked any talent, and whose artist ruined the high value and stoic nature of Fine Art. Anna Art Council, our 501c3 nonprofit organization, holds this problem as one of ours, too. Before we ask for your support or produce any work, is to develop a trusting relationship with our community's Legacy families.

Mission- 'To transform a city without art into an Arts & Culture Distict knwon for its remarkable talent,"
Goals-
- Anna Art Cafe'- A local cafe' that serves local baked goods for sale, homemade lemonaid, tea, and coffee' served by artists in our organization so they can create relationships with Anna neighbors. Anna Art Cafe' is uniquely also a place where its art, decor, dishes, lighting, and foods- are locally made and available for purchase. We hope to bring customers in for a snack and laughter and they leave with their arms filled with locally made art.
- Anna Art Co-op- A booth-style, interior space, which allows artists to sell their art and handmade treasures every weekend. From jewelers, to florists, quilters, to painters, photographers, to artists that offer consulting services like interior decorating, commercial decor, and holiday crafts- our Art Co-op gives Anna a trendy space to see artist in their element. Open every Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
-Anna Art Festival- Imagine Anna's multi-disciplined artists hold a live musi and art-filled festival one weekend a year, where artists share thier talent with Anna and North Texas. Wine tasting, food sampling, live bands on stage, face painting, craft activities, a dance-off competition, a kids activity area- but a celebration of talented artists who love their community.
These are just three of nearly a hundred ways Anna Art Council hopes to establish our definition of 'Art' and 'Artists' is the same as yours; of people granted a gift of artistic ability, given a mission to use it with honest, eager, and professional ambition, and whose work is socially good.
