We could not be more thrilled to officially announce the 2026–2027 Rude Mechanicals season with two incredible productions: Thornton Wilder’s “The Skin of Our Teeth” and Dominique Morisseau’s “Pipeline!”Coming into our 30th season, we can’t wait to share these powerful and thought-provoking stories with our audiences!!

Kicking off our season, Kendall Brisco takes the reins with Thornton Wilder’s “The Skin of Our Teeth,” a wildly imaginative and timeless exploration of humanity, resilience, and survival. Follow the Antrobus family as they navigate ice ages, floods, and the many challenges of being human in this Pulitzer Prize-winning classic. Catch this unforgettable production at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre from November 6–8. 🦖👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

In the winter, Vera Alonzo brings Dominique Morisseau’s “Pipeline” to the stage. Set against the backdrop of the American education system, this gripping drama explores race, family, education, and the forces that shape young people’s futures. Don’t miss this powerful production running April 23–25 at the Arthur Miller Theatre. ⚖️📚

As this semester of Rude Mechanicals comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to highlight our 8-time Rudes veteran, Julie My Thai!

Serving as out Technical Director over the last four semesters, Julie has brought dedication, leadership, and passion to every show she’s been a part of. From long build days and load-ins to solving problems behind the scenes, her work has been at the heart of bringing our productions to life.

Thank you, Julie, for your hard work, commitment, and the care you’ve poured into Rude Mechanicals over the years. Your impact on this organization and everyone lucky enough to work alongside you will not be forgotten. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next! ❤️🤍

“Producing for Rudes has been the best part of our college experience. Rudes has given us so much these past two years and we couldn’t imagine our lives without the incredible people we’ve gotten to work and collaborate with.

While we are sad to be stepping away, we are so lucky to have the dream team taking over. Maya, Hope, and Georgina- you three are going to absolutely crush it, and we can’t wait to be front row for your shows next year.
