SCRAP is searching for an energetic and outgoing individual to fill the role of Reuse Specialist. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment and receiving, processing and managing high quality and safe creative reuse materials for retail and Online Stores.

SCRAP’s mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. To fulfill our mission, SCRAP operates a donation-based creative reuse store and education programming.

Weekly schedule: Wednesday - Sunday | with flexibility when needed.

Your donations fuel SCRAP's Education initiatives! That bag of fabric scraps you dropped off? It becomes a camper's first sewing project. Those donated markers stock a classroom where a teacher didn't have to spend her own money. Every donation to SCRAP turns into hands-on learning and keeps usable material out of the landfill on its way there.

Buttons, bead, yarn, fabric, paper, thread... all the material you're done with is the raw imagination for someone else's first big idea.

Your donations stock SCRAP's education programs: summer camps where youth build, sew, and invent; workshops for teens and adults; and free and low-cost supplies for educators. Across our four sites, donated material moves directly from the donation counter into the hands of a young maker.

Reuse isn't just about what we keep out of the landfill. It's about what we make possible. Donate, and you're funding creativity. Donate like a superstar and you're getting materials into the hands of new makers swiftly and seamlessly!
