Theatre Nova

Theatre Nova 🎭 Dedicated to promoting the value and excitement of new plays and new playwrights in the Ann Arbor community.

Theatre Nova is dedicated to raising awareness of the value and excitement of new plays and new playwrights, and providing resources and outlets for playwrights to develop their craft, by importing, exporting, and developing new plays and playwrights. Its goal to create a sustainable theatre for generations to come is built on the four cornerstones of accessibility, transparency, artist-leadership, and equality.

Meme Resnick (Stage Manager) is delighted to return to Theatre NOVA after several years away. Prior theater work includes She Kills Monsters (director, A2CT), John & Jen (SM & LD, IAC), and being Theatre NOVA's resident stage manager for the 2017 to 2018 season. When not doing theater, she's often found surrounded by books and dice. Much love to the cast and crew for an amazing show!

Allison Megroet (FLEUR CAPUCINE) is honored to return to Theatre Nova's stage. Most recently, she has enjoyed touring with Timeless Tales Theatre, bringing fairytale favorites to local preschools; and the Michigan Shakespeare Festival Interstate Tour (MISFITs), performing Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio), and Macbeth (Lady Macbeth, Witch) at high schools in the tri-state area. She has been acting for over 20 years, taking opportunities both on stage and in films, as well as roles behind the scenes directing and costuming. Many heartfelt thanks to Michael, Josie, Bri, my talented castmates, and the rest of the incredible Theatre Nova team.
