That's a wrap on our 30th Anniversary Recitals! 🎬

Congratulations to our dancers on a wonderful show and many thanks to all the families, friends, AADC staff, and stage crew who made our show a success and supported our Studio!

Senior Sunday 💛 Malia Goerlitz

Malia has been dancing at AADC for 7 years, and her favorite styles are Ballet and Jazz! She will be attending Eastern Michigan University in the fall to study Engineering.

Some of Malia's favorite AADC memories happened "in graded ballet, when Ms. Deena had us each make up a dance move for the twelve days of Christmas, then try it double time, it was super fun. Or the Modern class with Ms. Emma at the last intensive week. The dance and the music were so fun, everyone was clapping along, and the vibes were just super good!"

Her advice to younger AADC dancers is to "dance with your heart, not your head. Take all the advice the teachers give you and truly put it into your dancing."

Malia, we’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished - your AADC family will miss you and always be here supporting you!

Senior Sunday 💚 Maren Smith

Maren has been dancing at AADC for 14 years, and her favorite style is Ballet! She will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to study Psychology.

Maren's favorite AADC memories are "playing games with the little kids on long rehearsal days." Her advice to younger AADC dancers is to "enjoy every class and performance!"

Maren, watching you grow into the dancer and person you are today has been such a joy, we're so proud of you!
