The Hive

The Hive Supporting the scene. It is an intimate setting with plenty of room for parking. We have booked both local and national acts.

The Hive is located 30-45 minutes south of Houston, in Angleton, TX but don't let that fool you because It is located in the middle of several live music scenes and usually draws crowds from Houston. Free lodging and homemade food (usually Mexican) for national acts are provided. Free popcorn and sometimes free hotdogs for the attendees. We have an in-house PA system with plenty of microphones, an

d we have a load-in ramp because we don't like dealing with stairs! Shows range from free-$5 (We know money is tight, so we try to keep the prices low. Support the scene and most importantly, support the people!) We promote oldskool with passing out paper flyers/word of mouth and also newskool with social networking and all that biz always ensuring a great solid crowd. We book all genres of music from acoustic/folk to oldskool/newskool indie rock to alternative to melodic hardcore to hardcore to metal to avant garde to instrumental to just good jamz! Also, and finally, remember to keep it clean and keep it fun!
