We have been hard at work on administration, set up, and legalities. Our inbox is flooded with update requests, our posts are gaining great traffic, and our owners are getting a lot of requests for updates. Here is a quick synopsis of events & update for everyone in one easy place! 👾

🛸 We are still opening the location for Angier, NC - although delayed
🛸 We are on schedule for the re-launch of our strategic planning at the end of August now that our owners have relocated their two other businesses to Angier, as planned!
🛸 We are proactively accepting applications and applying can be done on Indeed
🛸 Our website, that includes pricing, hiring information, and real-time updates is still scheduled to launch on Monday, August 19th, 2024
🛸 We have selected all winning businesses for the murals, have designed the mural, and selected all placements within the arcade.

As soon as we have more information to give out, we will do so promptly! Thank you so much for your patience with us as we ensure that we are exercising our own patience and dedication to creating the scalable space the town NEEDS!

Please expect another update and major decision + announcement in or around September.

Awesome sauce is brewing for The A Zone! A huge thank you to Black Sheep Construction LLC for making magic happen same day to get the peoples arcade ready to launch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BEST EXPERIENCE WE’VE EVER HAD!! 🙌🏽

Although we’ve had some obstacles, as you can expect with any new business… we’re moving on up! We can’t wait to update everyone on our progress and finalize some of the major details to give full disclosures!! 😍

Here’s what we know so far:

•We’re excited to serve Boar's Head premium meats for all of our subs!

•We’re excited to have PepsiCo fountains in The Eat Zone!

•We’re beyond excited to have some of the latest and greatest arcade games in the building, including Nerf and PAC-MAN!

•We’re excited for the murals that feature Bob Jusnes, Angier Mayor, Flowmaxx Plumbing llc, Clean Queens by Jess & Steph, Black Sheep Construction, The James Foundation and Carolina Discount Movers!

As we begin to make the final decisions on where the arcade will be stationed in Angier, the game choices, and the funding needs, we’re ready to start accepting applications for all available positions within the arcade. 🛸

We will begin interviewing for the positions mid-April as we are still projected to launch Saturday, April 27th, 2024!

Bob Jusnes is Angier's serving mayor. With a passion for service and hearts of gold, the Jusnes family are going to be found within the mural in "The Play Zone!"

We are over the moon to announce the first winner of The A Zone Mural Spotlight Contest for Local Businesses!

Our Non-Profit Winner, The JAMES Foundation wants to inform, educate and assist young adults with disabilities. Our mural will feature the foundation in "The Eat Zone" & will have special features as a highlight design throughout the arcade.

Additionally, because we LOVE the mission and what they stand for, we have created "The James Wrap." The James Wrap is a specialty menu item, served with chips or fries. The A Zone will be donating 15% of the profits sold on The James Wrap to The JAMES Foundation every quarter!!! 🤯🤯

We will be selecting 3 of Angier’s small businesses, 2 local politicians/town leaders, and ONE non-profit organization. These select few will be featured in our mural, incorporated into our space theme, and will have a permanent space in Angier’s arcade! ✨ We’re going to have a lot of fun with this project and we hope you do, too!
