Finished piece and progress pics
I am stepping away from paint and working more with papers and inks this next chapter of my creative process
I’ll still be making canvas, but will be focusing more on drawing arts to prepare for new merch.
This is a portrait of a friends child’s they asked me to draw
I used prisma colored markers and acrylic paint pens
I tend to be heavy handed with my line work
Using pencils and practicing new figurative works with landscapes will be a welcomed challenge to help me grow my skill sets.
I’ve been wanting to do more child and mother portraits, or parents and their kids in general since my ectopic surgery, seeing the Mary Cassatt paintings helped me a lot when I had surgery, it’s heavenly bond I want to pay homage too
Am welcoming more projects like this for free for whoever wants or needs a portrait this holiday season
