Backstory time:

For the first 6 years of life I lived in Mulvane. We lived in the country and my only friend was my brother. One of my favorite childhood memories was playing hotwheels cars together. There was a carpet - in his rom I believe that my mother had made. My parents did not have a lot of money when we were little. At one point there was a carpet store near by that threw away new carpet- mostly carpet squares of various colors. My mom dug through the garbage and saved/ upcycled all the remnants. There was a large section of brown so she used that basically to farm all the colored pieces. So there was a red square, then a strip of brown then a blue square strip of yellow you get the point. It made a great track to hot wheels cars- the perfect road and buildings you name it! We had a ton of hot wheel cars we would take hours choosing cars then play probably 5 min lol . But my mom sewed the carpet by hand - it looked similar to Dolly Payton’s coat of many colors which is probably why I like that song and book so much! Same love and meaning behind the carpet!

Anyways, as a result I’m working on making a hot wheels table that kids came play at . Please don’t take my cars or try to destroy the table- just enjoy it ! This is what I started with tonight and how far I got. Not very far. But closer … still making it up as I go. I’m excited to see what it becomes !

Help wanted :
I have 120 bales of hay on a trailer . I need them unloaded and placed around the track.
I have a tractor that if they are unloaded and placed in pallets I can move them around to places on the track. I need someone strong enough to move and handle the bales. When you aren’t strong enough it ends up damaging the bales and then they are useless…
