Usually everything I want to accomplish in my life takes a while. I go slowly, that's me! However, when I am willing to do something, I give 100% of myself, I really “wear” the shirt and try my best. And so it was with “Crazy Life".
My dreams related to arts came since childhood...
I wrote this Play in 2016, it was right after I lost my Dad. After six years of work, analysis (in every way), studies, I finally decided to bring the project to life. It wasn't an easy task at all, I worked very hard, but I might also say that I didn't do anything by myself. I had a responsible and very dedicated team, I also had friends who were crucial to this achievement; My boyfriend and my dog Bilu, who gives me love, happiness and friendship every single day!
I can only be extremely happy with the personal accomplishment and the final result; I received many compliments from professionals and I'm very proud to have made history in Massachusetts. Crazy Life is the first original play produced and written in English by Brazilians to be performed at the theater in Massachusetts. We had 9 presentation! 😊❤️
I would like to thank everyone involved immensely, everyone who came to see the Play and also our sponsors and supporters.
It was amazing to have a team and an audience so diversified!

We are all constantly learning.

Melvin is also a doctor. He is very humble, kind, generous, a wonderful friend, I think one of the best people I've ever met.
Mel read Crazy Life's script right after I wrote it and accepted to be part of it. One of his poems is in the Play. I just have to say .... what an honor!
Besides poet, Melvin is a doctor. He attended at Cambridge Hospital's ER for over 30 years-----
He also volunteered as a Doctor when a hurricane struck Haiti.
He doesn't like to be mentioned as a doctor, I didn't at the event but at this time I will so I cannot only say thanks for his presence, his poems and for reciting for us but also as an Immigrant I can thank him for all the immigrants living in MA he saw at the hospital. He even learned some portuguese which made it a lot easier for those who did not speak english.

Patil, you are an amazing person and I was very happy to see you there and listen to your reciting. I could feel your truth and listen to your heart's beating through your poem. And the poem recited by our character Roger (Douglas Bolduc) is just soooo good! We all learned and we all loved it and it worked so well on the play. Thank you very much!! ❤️❤️💐🙏🙏

My bed is always empty
But my soul is emptier
There are times I wanna cry
But no tears will come out
There are times I wanna scream
But there’s no noise to hear

There are times where I smile
And I forget for a while
There are days where I forget
But it’s all a pretend
There are days where I feel
But nothing good is near

My thoughts are always empty
But my emotions are plenty
There are days where I dream
But nightmares always redeem
There are days the sun is bright
But there’s darkness all behind

Atlas Sighs

My limbs are more than strong enough to hold you,
The weight of the world fails to leave me faint.
I suspend all distractions to behold you;
I shrug off stars to grasp a finer point.
Condemned to play the universal pillar,
I brace the sky securely on my spine.
The heavens offer views in endless number;
When I look up, my eyes default to one.
My partial point of view defies comparing,
I find no scene complete without your face.
Your footsteps keep the universe revolving.
I move the earth to keep up with your pace.
If any harm were to befall your foot,
I’d wring my hands, the world would follow suit.
