Originally constructed in 1913, this magnificent home passed through several prominent families and was known as Valley View. And now, this might be the most unique venue for hundreds of miles currently owned and operated by True Southern Events as the Rocky River Wedding & Events Venue. “Spectacular” is the word most used by guests to describe this perfect setting for weddings, receptions, busin

ess events, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and other celebrations. Additionally, guests will find a basement and a permanent staircase leading up to two attic rooms. The rooms on the first floor have eleven-foot ceilings, and rooms on the second floor have ten-foot ceilings. The unique floors are two-inch slash pine laid in patterns. This house not only has columns outside at the front of the house but also has columns in the entrance hall as well. A large, wrap-around porch graces the front of the house. Finding the perfect location is the foundation for your wedding plans. Set atop a hill on a private estate, you will find the Rocky River colonial-style house, the perfect setting to create timeless memories. Taylor’s Garden, adjacent to the house, allows couples to choose from several wedding sites, while a tastefully styled tented or barn reception is set close by. Recreate that 1890 feeling at the Bootlegger Barn, where rustic charm is paired with down home fun. Once a horse stable, guests can experience southern charm as they dine and dance.
