✨Meet the artist: Dani Rucker

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Dani Rucker is an indie-folk artist whose intimate songwriting and quietly captivating voice blend the warmth of Americana with modern indie pop. After moving to New York, she refined her craft as a songwriter before heading to Nashville to develop her debut project with Charleston based producer Corey Campbell.

With vivid lyricism, understated production, and emotionally rich performances, Dani’s music explores love, identity, and the complexities of growing up with striking honesty. Influenced by artists like Clairo, Kacey Musgraves, and Lizzy McAlpine, she has cultivated a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly her own. As she releases her debut music, Dani is establishing herself as a compelling new voice in the indie-folk space.

Anderson County is in the process of updating our Land Use ordinances. Please join us on Wednesday, May 27 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Civic Center to hear what we have been up to. There will be a presentation at 4 pm and one at 5 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
