Hello, Friends and Family of the TL Hanna High School Band!

We are kicking off our biggest fundraiser of the year! With ever-growing costs to operate our band program, we are asking the community to contribute to help offset our program's expenses. We have made a conscious effort to keep our students' band fees down and we are asking the community to help! All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a letter following your donation. Hello friends of TL Hanna Bands! We would like to take a minute and thank Mission Grill here in Anderson for being a band sponsor! We will be doing spirit nights there on the first Wednesday of every month from 5-9 PM. Mission Grill will be sharing profits with the TL Hanna Band! Hello Hanna Band Family,



We have finally received final details for the contest on November 7th. This will be a wonderful chance for our students to showcase their hard work in front of a crowd other than our home football crowd. This is also a great chance for our new students and new parents to learn what a competition day feels like. On competition days, the following things happen in this order:

*we rehearse early in the day

*we load the trucks before dismissing for lunch

*dismiss the students so they can eat/shower/change for the contest

*return to the school at a designated time

*depart for the contest

*have a great time performing

*leave after the awards ceremony

*arrive back at the high school and unload

*meet and dismiss



Here is our itinerary for the Carolina Festival of Bands.



11:00 AM – Call Time at TL Hanna High School/Rehearse

1:00 PM – Load Trucks

1:30 PM – Dismiss – Go eat, shower, change into appropriate attire, etc.

3:30 PM – Call Time at TL Hanna High School

4:00 PM – Depart for James F. Byrnes High School

5:00 PM - Arrive and Unload

5:30 PM – Warm-Up

7:10 PM – Gate Time

7:20 PM –ROCK THE HOUSE!!!

7:40 PM – Load Truck then sit in stands to watch the final 2 bands

8:30 PM – Awards

9:00 PM – Depart James F. Byrnes High School

10:00 PM – Arrive at TL Hanna High School, Unload, and Dismiss

James F. Byrnes High School

150 E. Main St.

Duncan, SC 29334



Ticket prices: $5 per person (Children 4 and under are free)



Normally, concessions are available for students at contests, but they will not be available to us at the contest this year. The band will provide water and a light snack, but students are encouraged to bring their own snacks/food for after the performance.



If you are taking the SAT in the morning, you are excused from rehearsal. You can come to rehearsal after you finish your test, or you can meet us at 3:30 before we depart. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. You can contact [email protected] or [email protected]

Hello Hanna Band Family,

I appologize for the last minute notice, but we have had a change to our schedule. The game against Hillcrest tomorrow has been postponed from tomorrow until November 6th. Our parent performance scheduled for November 6th has been replaced with the Hillcrest Football game and will not be rescheduled. With that being said, we will still perform tomorrow, and we invite everyone out to come watch!

Schedule for tomorrow:

5:30 PM - Call time at TL Hanna

7:30 PM - Performance in the Stadium

After the performance, we will pack up and dismiss.

I hope you can all come watch our awesome students tomorrow at 7:30 in the stadium!

Hello Hanna Band Family!

Our Snap-Raise fundraiser goes live tomorrow. We have reached 50% of our students that have turned in their 20 e-mails. We have several students that are close! Parents, please help your student reach their 20 e-mail goal! Our goal is 70% of the band turn in 20 e-mails each. Please help us reach our goal!

Once the fundraiser goes live, please feel free to share it on your social medias to help encourage donations!
