About 3 years ago I rescued Chance from the kill pen. He was abused, hungry and sick. He had strangles real bad and his face was paralyzed. After medicine, daily shots and many vet trips, he recovered. As a healthy horse he was too much of a horse for me to ride. With the help of a good friend, he has found his home and riding companion with the perfect horse woman. Look at him now. So proud of you boy. Thank you ladies for believing in him.

We helped celebrate Juneteenth at EastTown Dreams District in Joplin yesterday. They didn’t need much help. Everyone was there to have fun. What a party! Good music, great food, and lots of activities for the kids. Horses were very busy. Hope we can go next year.

We are giving kids rides at Tradin Days in Jane today. Nice cool day and plenty of helpers.

Last Saturday we spent the day at the Shead Family Farm in Garland Kansas. What a festival! So many things for families to see and experience. We gave over 100 pony rides. Just think of how many steps the minis had to take to keep up with the draft horses.
