I'm bringing you a soft launch of something really special. I was able to partner with John Vieke a fellow first responder that is also a maker. These are handmade solid read oak cutting boards that I had the pleasure of pouring on.

Hi friends, it's your girl Mer!

I've noticed several new faces around here and thought I would take a moment to re-introduce myself!

I'm an almost 26 year old, wife, cat and dog mom, and a full time paramedic- my husband Jarrett is also a Paramedic and Firefighter.

Mer's Makings started 4 years ago during the pandemic, I was still working while the rest of the world was shut down but on my off time was longing for a way to still connect with the world and my once crafting for fun turned into a small business.

I am a VERY small business meaning it it just me, myself, and I. While I do occasionally release collections of my creations everything else is completely custom made to order. This means that things take time to make. Mer's Makings is not my full time job and this means that my pieces are made as my time allows. Everything I make is a labor of love and is thoughtfully created with intention. I desire to make high quality pieces which often means a little patience is required on the customers end but is guaranteed to be worth the wait.

I am so thankful to be able to make things that bring others joy. I had no idea when this adventure started that it would be where it is now. I look forward to continue making for you and am so thankful for all of your support along the way!
