I've read in Our Daily Bread Ministries devotional & in a different devotional that God will let us make our own choices as long as they align with His will. And I find that to be interesting as well as comforting because I'm in the middle of a great change - great as in "large" and "good."
I also think, however, that I have been too dormant in my part: I've been waiting, but simultaneously doing nothing on my part to actually get to the next chapter.
Fear of ricocheting off of God's will and into a side road is part of the thing that's keeping me motionless. I will say this -- God hasn't been quiet on the hints, haha. Little (and sometimes very obvious) things have been appearing which I firmly believe is God saying (and reminding) "go this way," up to the point of getting two very specific pieces of mail that we don't normally...uh, we don't ever get. And getting hints by way of commercials on the TV. It's awesome. God is awesome. Jesus is awesome, the Holy Spirit is AWESOME! †

Winter Lonliness

lonely
i wanted to find a person
to enjoy one December day with
dangerously
i threw my cautious nature
right into the cold snowy wind
nervously
i walked around the city
watching the chess players play
suddenly
i noticed a another person
watching the chess players play
precariously
i made my feet go toward
and they also walked toward
suprisingly
i saw it was a mirror
and felt very embarrassed
happily
i noticed someone else
noticing my feeling embarassed
shockingly
i said the word yes
when he asked me about cocoa
gratefully
i thanked Jesus
and wasn't lonely anymore
