It has been a minute!

OMG! The heater in the studio is finally back up and working!❤😱❤🥳🎊 I am so excited I opened the doors and blew the dust out! Most of the dust...some of the dust..😅

And more importantly I was able to do a bit of sanding. It felt so comforting, the stillness, chasing the grain of the wood patiently. It feels like life is returning. The plants are growing, snow is melting, and it feels like a grand exhalation as my world slowly broadens.

I have by no means been idle, though I have been apprehensive. I've built and rebuilt 2 custom 3d printers that I designed from the ground up. I feel quite proud of them, but shy nonetheless. My dear uncle sent me an Ender 5 3d printer that was in need of some love. His gracious heart, and yours are what keep me moving. They keep me alive.

I've rebuilt the Ender 5 and it is now an Ember 5, I also have an Ember 3 😅 and these will be my workhorses this summer as I continue my electroforming journey. I can't wait to show you! It is such an amazing process!

ISO: Used photography equipment. Tripods, lights, soft boxes, retractable backdrops, PM me if you know of any please.😊 Being an artist is demanding, you also have to be a writer, photographer, web presence and marketing specialist, and so much more to even be seen.

Studio minute:

Body: Becoming
Piece:Lone
WIP: 228 hrs

I spent a bit working on the left panel, The weeping angel, leaving my hand dry and the skin brittle and cracked. Winter in Alaska draws the moisture out of the wood so fast. Over all I'm happy with the composition, struggling with whether or not the central panel should sit proud of the left and right panels, or flush. I feel like sitting proud develops a new dimension but also casts heavy shadows. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
