Momentum's core values are rooted in the collaborative approach. We believe in the transformative power of art and the affect it has on positive social change. We believe in engaging our community through many different mediums and in a variety of opportunities in order to truly connect to our diverse city. We do this through work on stages, site-specific collaborations and performances, as well as many different types of volunteer efforts that bring us into new communities, in new ways.

Our summer company class schedule is here and the lineup is so good! ☀️

Join us Tuesdays from 6:30–8:30pm for a mix of jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and more with an incredible group of instructors. $15 drop-in, open to the community.

A quick note on timing: classes are scheduled for 2 hours this season to allow for more depth and exploration, but class length is ultimately at the teacher’s discretion. Some may wrap closer to 8pm depending on the material, but pricing remains the same. If a class wraps at 8pm, the studio will remain available until 8:30 for personal cool down time or the option to film the combo.

Today, we celebrate dance. Not just the performances, but the instinct to move. The joy. The connection. We're also celebrating this community because together, we reached our $5,000 goal! 🎉

Dance reminds us that we are alive, that we belong, that we can express what words sometimes cannot. Whether you showed up to a performance, shared our work, danced along the way with us, or supported in your own way, thank you for being a part of this.

Rehearsals. Live music. Poetry. Comedy. Conversations.

It’s the home of Momentum dancers and where we create but its also much more. From residencies to classes, performances to gatherings like After Hours, this is more than a studio, it’s a home for creativity.

We’re halfway to our goal to raise $5,000 by International Dance Day to support the artists, programs, and energy that live here in this space!
