We are thrilled to have Anchorage artist Dom Boyer join us this month. Dom is a prolific painter whose works celebrate Alaska's iconic places including Denali, Turnagain Arm, Hurricane Gulch, the Alaska Railroad and more. She will have prints, hand painted glassware and more.

Come downtown on Sept 4th to meet Dom at Cabin Fever and then work your way through the rest of the G Street Arts District including our neighbors at the Tiny Gallery! There is so much amazing local talent here that you'll be blown away.

Brianna Reagan is one of our favorite Fairbanks artists. She's made these 12 oz. ceramic art mugs with subtle designs that are definitely Alaskan without shouting it at you. I mean we love to shout it that we are Alaskan... but occasionally one needs some thing a little more subtle. ;)

These sweet mugs feature mussels, clams, Alaska Dogwood, and Forget-Me-Nots in a range of quiet colors that are perfect for your morning joe, afternoon London Fog or evening herb tea. As the days get shorter, we know you are going to want more cups of cozy hot beverages.

We just got these gorgeous handkerchiefs with blueberries, forget me nots and mushrooms!

Every Alaskan needs more than a few handkerchiefs to take camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and just hanging around the cabin but they need not be boring.

These beauties are definitely NOT boring! These go way beyond functional. We call them “cabin chic!”

Yes, we still have the 2026 Alaska Quilters Shop Hop Wolf Block and Quilt Finishing kits in stock! If you are doing the whole quilt, get your blocks now as after September 9th, the kits will have a border and binding added and the price will go up to reflect that.

Come join our team! We are sad that we have a couple of valued team members going south for the winter and need help filling their capable shoes.

Do you share our passion for Alaskan art, crafts, quilting or knitting? Do you believe in the creativity of Alaskans? Do you love making people feel welcome and helping them find just the right thing? Then we want you!

We are a flexible workplace of thoughtful, creative people who enjoy helping people find just the right fabric, yarn, gift, craft or art piece. We are looking for someone interested in working between a few days a week. Half day shifts are also available. If you are interested, shoot us an email to [email protected] or swing by the shop.
