FuelRods are a portable charging solution that make your Disneyland visit SO much less stressful.

Full disclosure, FuelRod🔋Portable Chargers is a brand we work with often, but this particular post is not an ad, this is just me living my live at Disneyland (because yes, this life very frequently includes FuelRod swaps).

Here’s how they work: you buy the initial kit (which you can either do online before you come to the parks or you can do at a kiosk at the park once you arrive….buying ahead of time will cost you less), then once you’ve used up the battery, you can swap it at any kiosk around the park for a fresh, fully charged on….for FREE. Inside Disney parks, all FuelRod swaps are free. So basically your phone battery will never be dead again. Or camera, fan, or whatever else you wanna use it for (we use FuelRods a ton in the parks for our camera when we’re filming).

FuelRods really are the easiest way to keep your phone charged on a Disneyland visit. They’re so convenient, easy to use, and their customer service is second to none.

Got questions about using a FuelRod? Leave them down there in the comments for us!

If you’re looking for a quick lunch in Downtown Disney, the beef bowl from Seoul Sister is a great option. It’s definitely filling and has great flavor to it. I’d give it a solid 8/10.

He ain’t wrong: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has the comfiest pool chairs we’ve ever sat in, anywhere. They certainly do rank high on our list of things we love about this Disneyland on-property resort.

BUT

One of the biggest perks of staying at the Grand Californian is the dedicated entrance directly into DCA. It makes it easy to run back and forth to your room all day for naptime, outfit changes, snacks, or whatever else you need.

You’ll find the path connecting DCA and the hotel directly across from Grizzly River Run—which is why I’ve spent years fixated on what it would be like to get soaked on Grizzly River Run and then jump straight into the pool at the Grand Californian afterward.

Don’t ask me why. You know how once your brain decides something is important, there’s no going back? The stars and my schedule finally aligned and this last most recent stay was finally the day for making ridiculous dreams come true. I can die happy now.

Do you have any silly little Disneyland bucket list items like this one? Let us know what yours is down in the comments!

French Toast Sticks
💵$9.99 from Smokejumpers Grill in DCA

Served with powdered sugar, berries and maple syrup

This item definitely comes with enough to split if you wanted to. They also sell a smaller, kids menu version of it for a dollar less (comes with a smaller portion and no berries).

What DCA food do YOU think we should try next?

Celebrating 18 years of marriage today!

Anyone who tells you that marriage is easy is a liar. It’s one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. And the most worth it. ❤️

You can find this fun-filled dance party over at the Tomorrowland Terrace from 5:30-9:30pm every night this summer.

This party has a spontaneous-feeling, unstructured flow of characters cycling through that means you never know who you might find yourself dancing with.

This is the ONLY place to find Stitch in the parks. He comes out 3-4 times each night. So if he’s not there when you arrive, just sit right. He will be soon!

The best part is a custodial cm showed up in the picnic area just in time to catch the flirty version.

It’s TRUE!

Disneyland has cleared out the pin trading area in Frontierland that used to look like a swap meet and had turned it into a kids-only pin trading area.

There are also some new pin trading rules in general in the park, so if you were planning on trading on your next trip, be sure to read up on them before you visit. The gist is: no more big binders of pins (lanyards or small handheld holders only), no camping out anywhere to trade, and pins must actually be authentic Disney pins (no cheap Amazon dupes).

We’re loving the new vibe in this area!
