Laguna Hills, Calif. – On the Edge Theatre Productions at the Laguna Hills Community Center is thrilled to present onstage for the holiday season a musical based on one of the most famous novels of all time. Little Women the Broadway Musical opens Friday, Dec 19, 2014 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014. Based on Louisa May Alcott's novel, Little Women, follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March beginning one Christmas Eve in Civil War America. This wonderful narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating musical filled with glorious music, dancing and heart. Little Women the Broadway Musical guarantees an uplifting evening filled with laughter, tears, and spirit. Show times are Friday at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $15.00. Cast includes: Jarrod Davis and Lisa Del Padre from Mission Viejo, Alex Delahunty from Laguna Hills, Chris Diem from Newport Beach, Kerry Hedley and Katherine Paladichuk from Irvine, Rebecca Rubino and Dawn Doherty from Lake Forest, Emerson Taylor from San Clemente, and Nicholas Thurkettle from Long Beach. Directed by Aurora Long from Lake Forest. Founded in 2005, On The Edge Theatre Productions first found its home renting performance spaces from the Saddleback Valley School District and local theaters for productions. In 2009 the first full season of shows was put together, seeing an exponential growth in participants and audiences. In 2013 OTE found a theater home with the Laguna Hills Community Center. After putting together productions for the Mission Viejo and Santa Ana areas, OTE is excited to grow with the city of Laguna Hills.
