Oogie Boogie Bash is better than Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Yep… I said it. 😂

And before my Walt Disney World friends come for me… hear me out! 👇

If you’ve never experienced Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, you might not realize just how much there is to this Halloween party.

🦹‍♀️ THE VILLAINS!

Almost every treat trail has a live villain as part of the experience—and there are some REALLY fun and unexpected ones.

Doofenshmirtz. Syndrome. Agatha Harkness. Héctor. Oogie Boogie. And more!

👹 MONSTERS AFTER DARK!

The Halloween version of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is fantastic. If you love this attraction, you absolutely need to experience the Halloween overlay.

🌲 VILLAINS GROVE!

This might have been one of my favorite parts. The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is completely transformed into an eerie, immersive walk-through filled with lights, sounds and Disney villains.

It’s such a unique Disney experience.

🎭 THE COSTUMES!

There are SO many characters out during the party, but I also loved seeing all of the incredible costumes guests came up with.

Disney fans definitely understood the assignment. 😂

🎃 THE PARADE!

The Haunted Mansion-inspired Halloween parade was fantastic. I also really enjoy the Halloween parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, so I’m calling this one a tie.

🔥 So what does MNSSHP get that Oogie Boogie Bash doesn’t?

The fireworks.

…and honestly, that’s about all I’ve got for Florida. 😂

So there you have it.

My completely unbiased and definitely not controversial opinion:

👻 OOGIE BOOGIE BASH > MICKEY’S NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY 👻

If you’ve never been to Oogie Boogie Bash, you NEED to add it to your Disney bucket list!
