There’s something overwhelming about being on the other side of the world, so far from everyone and everything you know, surrounded by a place where almost nothing feels familiar... and then finding something that does.

Shanghai Disneyland is so different from the Disney parks I know, but somehow, the second I walked in, it still felt like home.

That’s the magic of Disney. No matter how far you travel, somehow, it still feels like a little piece of home was waiting for you there. ❤️

The fashion is a huge part of the reason I adored Shanghai Disneyland so much! And you guys, they were SO SWEET…when I would approach them to film them. I had a note written in Chinese in my phone that I would show them that said: “I love your outfit! Do you mind if I film a video of you for my Instagram?” And then they would giggle and smile and get all giddy and nod “yes” and pop their peace sign. Seriously so funny and so cute!

I showed up prepared to be confused, intimidated and wildly out of my depth.

China said: that sounds like a you problem. 😂

The moral of the story is: GO PLACES. Especially the ones that make you a little nervous. Let this beautiful world and what it has to offer surprise you.
