DISNEYLAND REVIEW: Halloween Treats! 🎃
Brock is a big foodie (surprise surprise) so before our Disneyland day we looked over the full menu of the new seasonal items and narrowed it down to one meal and one treat to try! Come check out our selections:
🗻 MATTERHORN PUFF 🗻
(Available until Jan 6, 2027 at Edelweiss Snacks)
A cream puff taken to the next level! (Or maybe a few levels!) It was a bit rich for me, but I’m sensitive to rich flavors. It was SO sweet and creamy and dense that I’d say this a full-fledged dessert rather than a snack (unless you shared with a friend!)
👻 “BooGogi” BEEF SANDWICH 👻
(Available until Nov 12 at Jolly Holiday)
OH MY GOODNESS Brock and I have been thinking about this sandwich all week 🤩🤩🤩 Juicy, mouth-watering flavor - everything you want a sandwich to be!! And combining it with a corn chowder was absolutely GENIUS 🤤
I told Brock to eat it very carefully so he could memorize what it tasted like because he HAS to learn how to make this at home!! 😍😍
🍏 CARAMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE🍏
(Available until Nov 12 at Jolly Holiday)
There is another style of this cheesecake offered at DCA that Brock was curious about (with a vanilla chantilly topping instead of chocolate mousse). I’m not a big cheesecake person (again, too rich for me 😅) but the flavor was nice and Brock is always down for cheesecake! Not sure cheesecake makes the list for quintessential Disneyland food, but it was good!
🥧 CHICKEN POT PIE SOUP 🥧
(Available until Jan 6, 2027 at Aunt Cass Cafe)
Sourdough bread bowls are ALWAYS a good idea and are so filling! I always end up snacking on the “soup bowl” throughout the rest of the day 🥖 The flavor of the chicken pot pie soup is yummy, but I was so hungry when I got this and was hoping for a literal chicken pot pie in it rather than soup (it was more soupy than chicken). My favorite bread bowl is still the chilli one 😍
