Yesterday at the Mount Vernon farmers market, a sweet boy (maybe 10?) came to my market booth. As he & his mom picked out their stones, he kept telling me how pretty they all were. When his mom was paying, he reached into his pocket & pulled out a handful of coins. He asked "would you like a tip?" Bawling my eyes out at the sweetness, guys!

I'm vending at the Coopeville Arts Festival this weekend. So far its been an "everything that can go wrong has gone wrong" kind of day. I did an indoor event last week & forgot to put my canopy back in the car so I'll be standing in the sun all day. (At least I'm wearing a hat today). Three boxes of new designs got left at home. And I'm on an incline, so all my stones keep falling off the shelves & onto the cement. So far only 1 has broken. Hopefully it stays at one. I have 45 minutes until open though, and I'm done setting up, so i get to sit & rest a minute before I get selling

I really need to remember to buy an antifatigue mat to stand on when I'm selling on concrete & asphalt.
