The Anacortes Arts Festival was proud to help design the new letters near the ferry terminal, creating something that reflects the heart of our island community. We wanted the artwork to capture the things we love most about Anacortes—the water, the forests, the creativity, the sense of adventure, and the welcoming spirit that makes this place feel like home.
This project would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration of Jennifer Wood Bowman and Brad Moore of SignDog NW , whose talent and dedication helped bring the vision to life.
With the World Cup bringing visitors to the Pacific Northwest, these letters offer a warm welcome and a glimpse of what makes Anacortes so special. It’s a place people are drawn to for the beautiful views, winding trails, ferries, vibrant arts, and the small-town charm that makes this island feel so memorable.
For those of us lucky enough to live here, it’s a daily reminder of why we love calling Anacortes home.
