We are only 1 day away from the Wish Fest in th City of Amsterdam!
Hopefully, as all of you know WishFest is more than a festival with great music and fun for the whole family, it's about coming together as a community and making a difference in lives not only for just a day but sometimes for a lifetime and beyond!
Over the years Wishfest has been about celebrating so many amazing kids and their passion to make a difference in all of our hearts! This year we lost a special member of our wishfest family, Tayvion Marcus Joyner! Tayvion was one of the original inspirations behind the start of WishFest and has been a part of the event every year! Tayvion and his family have been a integral part of the community for many years and he will never be forgotten!
Please join us at the Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties stage for a very special presentation to Hisert-Joyner family in memory of such a special person, Tayvion Marcus Joyner!
FLY HIGH LITTLE BUDDY! WE KNOW YOU WILL BE LOOKING DOWN ON US TOMORROW!

Thank you to the Amsterdam Castle for always supporting Wish Fest and being such a great community supporter! There is no better place to stay in the capital region than this amazing venue!
We are only two days away from our acts take the Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties stage which is only steps away from our Montgomery County - NY Kidzone feauturing bounce houses and Face painting!

Wish Fest is fun for the entire family! In addition to great music on our Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties Stage featuring country music star David J we will be having a fun filled kid zone sponsored by Montgomery County - NY! Not only will our kid zone feature amazing bounce houses but Miranda Whelly /Happy Littte face painting will be showing off her incredible talents helping all the little ones in attendance to transform into their alter egos!
Don't forget to stay for after the last performance for the fantastic fireworks performance!
But remeber this is more than just a festival this is where the City of Amsterdam can come together, learn and show support for so many local organizations (and who knows you might win $500 by completing our scavenger hunt).

Make sure to visit each of our partners booths for your chance to WIN $500 or maybe a beautiful quilt being raffled at the VCHC Booth and see all the different ways you can help our community!

Also if anyone would like to participate in a very special ceremonial Albany Ride for Missing Children bike ride please bring your bikes and meet at the bike trail next to Lorenzo’s Southside 3:30 pm!

Special announcement!!
WishFest is going back to where it all began and Vinny Michaels will be making a special performance on our Catholic Charities of Fulton and Montgomery Counties stage! This is a lineup you aren't going to want to miss! We have Kolbie Glionna and friends (Ryan Carmello Tim Barr Jesse Bradt) , Amsterdams Only Alternative Band Still Remains, Vinny Michaels and Top 20 Country Artist David J coming straight off his performance at the The Grand Ole Opry.
In addition to all these great artists we will have the Montgomery County - NY kids zone, all concluding the best fireworks performance in the area also thanks to Mongomery County!
Throughout the entire days festivities we will have Alyssa Caroprese from WRGB CBS 6 News, Albany and Brian Cody from Country 107.7 WGNA FM hosting the event and telling us about all the amazing acts and great organizations that we will be supporting!
