Theatre Seeking Technical Director:
Florida Studio Theatre is seeking a new Technical Director. Due to the Theatre’s rapid growth in recent years, our current TD (who has been with us for nearly a decade) is moving to the position of Shop Foreman to make way for a new TD to further staff and strengthen that department. Since most Theatre Professionals know a lot of other Theatre Professionals, I am writing to ask for your help. Do you know anyone who might be suitable for the TD job here at FST? SAVE THE DATE!!! Dinner Theatre Friday February 6, 2015. "LOVE LETTERS" Starring Ruth Frizell and Jim Reeves Directed by Michael J.R. Gilks Rehearsals are currently under way. WIll be held at THE BOSTON restaurant in Amite. Tickets will be available soon. $50.00 a couple and 35 for a single tickets. Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Amite Little Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for Love Letters. Casting 1 Male, 1 Female between the age range of 40-70. Auditions will take place Monday, November 17th 6:30pm at Rocks Cafe in Amite. The production date will be February 7, 2015. Love Letters is a funny and emotional portrait about the powerful connection of love. Two friends, rebellious Melissa Gardner and straight-arrow Andrew Makepeace Ladd III have exchanged notes, cards and letters with each other for over 50 years. From second grade, through summer vacations, to college, and well into adulthood, they have spent a lifetime discussing their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, and victories and defeats. But long after the letters are done, the real question remains: Have they made the right choices or is the love of their life only a letter away? Love Letters will be directed by Michael Gilks.
