UMass Amherst JSA The Japanese Student Association (JSA) is open to all students who are interested in deepening their knowledge and awareness of Japan.

The Japanese Student Association (JSA) encourages interaction between members who are interested in Japan and the Japanese language in general and creates community outreach through guided discussions, presentations, movies, and traditional or modern Japanese activities. Our mission is to explore, discover, learn, and broaden and share our knowledge and cultural awareness towards Japan and its language in a non-discriminatory environment throughout the campus.

Undoukai is a Japanese school sports day filled with a variety of races 🏃‍♀️, team competitions, marching band performances and even dances🕺

Our very own Undoukai will feature a three-legged race, tama-ire AKA ball toss into basket (玉入れ), Spikeball and more 🤩👀

⏰ When: Thursday, April 30th 2pm-4pm
📍Where: Metawampe Lawn
